- The film, a remake of Kanchana, was announced in the second half of January 2019 by the director of its original version i.e. Raghava Lawrence with Akshay Kumar in lead role.[10] Principal photography began on 22 April 2019 with the shoot of song "Bismillah".In January 2020, the starcast filmed song "Burj Khalifa" in Dubai.[11] The filming was wrapped up on 1 March 2020.
